Where the hell have I been?

I dont think I have much to say here although if you asked the people closest to me, I rarely shut my mouth...

so where have I been?

I don't know... Ive just been existing.  Not that Im sad, or depressed or feeling sorry for myself.  Im just around. Getting stuff done.  Waiting for a new phase I suppose.

Im still me, still Chief.  Just not "blogging chief"...

I have found myself working on IRL relationships and finding stability there...

Work has changed drastically <---probably for the better.. too busy to complain too much, but not so busy that I am manic

Homelife is good, we are content.

Bud is starting to plan for High School and Im not ready.  I find myself longing for the "empty nest" stage in my life but then I start pulling back hard against sending him off to experience the years of my life that were so dark and painful.  High School.

Curly is changing too... growing up.. turning into his mother.  He makes us laugh and makes us angry all in the same instant... the apple doesn't fall far does it?

Will this blog ever be the way it was?  I hope not because that will mean that I am not evolving as a person.  Two years ago this blog was something completely different that it was when it hit its peak last year.  That's how it should be.

Im proud of it because it is who I am.  I never fake it here.

Until next time....

Ciao :)

Did someone say, outdoor playset? IN THIS WEATHER? he he

If you are a blogger who has been around a while you have most certainly heard CSN Stores.  Its like a mall on steroids... seriously.  CSN Stores has over 200 online stores where you can find anything you need whether it be outdoor playsets, fitness equipment, or even cute cookware!

I have purchased a memory foam mattress pad, pet supplies, dinnerware, and a crock pot over the past year and everything has been of the utmost quality.

Check it out!  Head over and browse around... you wont be sorry!

(I know, another compensated post... momma needs to keep the lights on in this place ya know!)

Let's talk about goggles shall we?

So its been a year since I was fitted for eyeglasses and I can feel its time for another exam.. grrr...

I try not to think about the fact that 3 years ago I had Lasik and was promised a lifetime of "goggle free eyeballs".

It's a good thing I found GlassesUSA.com last year with three of us now requiring glasses, the money can get a bit tight.

GlassesUSA.com carries discount eyeglasses and has so many styles to choose from I had no problem finding mens eyeglasses for Duke and discount eyeglass frames for Bud.  I chose retro eyeglasses for myself and get so many compliments about how unique they are and how great they look.

So whether you are looking for designer eyeglasses, rimless eyeglasses, or an extra pair of reading glasses...  They make it easy not to have to search through tons of eyeglass stores, deal with the obnoxious salesmen and wait in long lines.

Right now they have some great promotions happening:
  • you can save 10% on your next order of glasses with the code:Mommy10
  • Valentines Day Sale:
    - Take $10 off any order of $100 or more when you use the code: 10FS
    - Take $15 off any order of $150 or more when you use the code: 15FS
    - Take $30 off any order of $200 or more when you use the code: BeMyValentine

**The 3 offers listed above also have free shipping to anywhere in the US or Canada.**

    These offers expire 2/14/11

(as you may have guessed, I was compensated for this post :)
